Biography

With 20 years of DJing experience under his belt, Scott Langley is a DJ who is going places. Having played in over 30 countries worldwide and a dab hand in the studio too with 100 productions signed to over 40 labels, he is a man who knows his music.
In the UK alone, he has played numerous gigs across the country, at 30 major clubs in London and at one point managed to hold down a staggering 20 residencies. This sort of dedication makes him a phenomenal talent with the gift of being able to adapt to new surroundings and whatever challenges are thrown his way. His passion for house music is unmistakable and that love of music can be felt in his performances. It’s no surprise then that he has been selected to represent the legendary dance music brand Global Underground as one of their new official global residents as well as already representing that other world famous brand, Ministry of Sound as their 1 in 4 official World Resident too – a huge privilege if there ever was one!

With his tireless touring schedule ripping up dancefloors at the worlds best clubs and events, and been a repeat guest over and over to many International Countries and cities – from Albania, Azerbaijan, Baku, Bali, Bangalore, Bangkok, Bochum, Bogota, Bosnia, Brisbane, Bulgaria, Cairns, Calcutta, Cancun, Cologne, Dubai, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Essen, Florianopolis, Goa, Gold Cost, Hattingen, Hyderabad, Ipswich (oz), Jakarta, Jarva, Kaliningrad, Kiev, Khabarovsk, Kho Pha-ngan, Kho Samui, Krabi, Kuala Lumpur, Latvia, Marche, Melbourne, Moscow, Mumbai, Nantes, Netherlands, Newcastle(oz), Odessa, Omsk, Phi phi, Portugal, Puerto Banus, Rio de Janeiro, San Francisco, Singapore, St Petersburg, Thessaloniki, Toulouse and Val d’Isère – a pretty impressive list to say the least!

Alongside his DJing, Scott is the driving force behind three successful independant dance music labels and is throwing himself into his studio work too having just joined forces with DJ Alan Jinx Chamberlain, former MN2S resident and long term manager of Marshall Jefferson, and many other God fathers of house to form The Tomorrow People. The boys are throwing themselves into this new project, and have been producing and remixing for the likes of such big names as of Chaka Khan, Basement Boys, Todd Terry – Gypsymen, Jose Nunez, Shawnee Taylor, Jesse Saunders, Barbara Tucker, Kathy Brown, Taka Boom, Angie Brown, Ann Nesby, Crystal Waters, Inaya Day, Stephanie Cooke, Dawn Tallman, Michael Procter and Joyce Sims to name few and with many more in the pipeline too. Be sure, 2011, the name Scott Langley and The Tomorrow People will be the ones on everyone’s lips. He has also started another studio project with Tony Divino working with the same big artists, and like most things Scott does, promises to be massive.

In Scott’s words, “”I love my job, I love my life and music is what i live for! Its what makes me breath and in life you do what you do best and I was born to make people dance”.

And no wonder life is good, Scott is truly becoming a force to be reckoned with demand both for his studio work and his work in the DJ booth. 2011 is going to be a busy year!

So people of the world be sure to keep your eye out for this up and coming DJ/Producer – a man with a wealth of experience on and off the decks, a Dj who knows how to cut it with the best of them and to make a whole club move.
